He started music at the age of 17 when he signed with DSR(deSkilledRappers) then known as 286 records. The public heard his talented voice for the first time when L.Payne was featured by Smartboy in his single "I will”. L.Payne gained more popularity in the music industry when he released his well-known hit called “Living the Life” in 2016 which was remixed and made even bigger waves.
