Born Mahlubodwa Eddie Zono in 1991 June 25 at All Saints Hospital in Engcobo. The Long Mahlubodwa wasn't fun to pronounce so people called him Odwa and soon enough Odwa became too common so he was nicknamed Odds which he became fond of and still uses it today. This 28 year old pop Singer, Rapper, trapper, Singer/Song writer from Cape Town started singing in primary School in the school choir in 2001, in high school formed a male voice choir (La Corona ensemble) which unfortunately didn't last. Odds decided to form a smaller pop-Opera group (The bow tie) alongside Onele Majokweni (Tenor) and Thobela James (2nd tenor). He enjoyed a joyful 4 years of singing in concerts, weddings, church ceremonies and funerals with the bow tie. In 2012 he developed interest in hip hop music and this decided to approach his brothers friend, Siphamandla Marenene who owned a studio back then. Siphamandla or SphaBeats as he prefers to be called wasn't really feeling Odds' style so Odds went looking elsewhere. He approached a very experienced but lazy producer, Emage Gazilerhumsha but unfortunately again things didn't go according to plan. This misfortune became a trend and he was rejected by T-Swag entertainment & iWorks music consecutively. At this point Odds knew that in order to experience his life for music fully he needed to own a recording studio and so he saved and bought it. Odds is currently working with Soull (Another experience producer) as an artist and co-owner At Soulitary Music in Cape Town, Khayelitsha.
